Cleanser, a startup in the automobile services area, has raised $2 million. Currently running in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, and Gurgaon, with 20,000-plus monthly subscribers, the startup appears to amplify its commercial enterprise in these towns.
The buyers who participated in the spherical have been Haldiram’s Family Office (Vivek Ventures Investments Pvt Ltd), Dr. Apoorv Ranjan Sharma (Founder, Venture Catalysts), Dhianu Das (Alfa Ventures), Karan Kumar (Founder, Amalthea Capital), Rahul Bothra (CFO, Swiggy), Mitesh Shah (Co-founder, IP Ventures), Lalit Agarwal (Head of Venture Capital at a Sovereign Wealth Fund), Bobby Reddy (Indus Ventures), Sagar Agarwal (ex-MD, Evolvence India Fund), and Nandi Vardhan Mehta (Head of Finance, KAAF Family Investments Office).
Founded in January 2018 via Kalyandhar Vinukonda and Pratibha Shalini, CleanseCar provides day-by-day automobile washing, on-demand bike service, and roadside assistance for motors.
Speaking on the funding received, Kalyandhar said,
The $100 billion automobile carrier enterprise is untapped as it has not turned virtual. Consequently, a cleanser goes after this possibility by going virtual and finding clients who aren’t cozy with drawing near traditional, non-transparent provider companies.
By leveraging statistics, CleanseCar started its bike-wash commercial enterprise with its on-call for the carrier, having more than 500 to date. CleanseCar is adding a new client every nine minutes for its car-wash provider.
Real-time car wash fame, one-click renewal, and easy online charge and rescheduling procedures are some of the features of the CleanseCar app that make it popular among its purchaser base.
The cleanser aims to wash one lakh vehicles each day and impart 25,000 on-demand motorbike services every month in all of the Indian metros.
